How long is the contract?

ASEC has a zero-term contract, which gives our customers the ultimate flexibility in managing their compliance the same as they would if they had their own internal Compliance Department. Our contracts are simple to understand and flexible to adapt to our clients’ compliance needs.

Do you Support the General Manufacturing Industry and the Construction Industry?

ASEC focuses solely on the General Manufacturing Industries across a wide variety of SIC Codes (e.g. 20-39). ASEC does not engage in Compliance Consulting for the Construction Industry.

How often are you onsite?

Unlike many of our competitors we are onsite monthly and as needed based on our clients’ ever-changing compliance needs. Monthly visits are critical to keeping compliance top-of-mind and aids in our clients keeping their business on track.

What are your Service Areas for Compliance Consulting?

Our focus is our home, serving the greater Chicagoland area, including Southern Wisconsin and Northeast Indiana. We do have select customers across the country and we will evaluate remote clients on a case-by-case basis.

Can you help with our safety committee?

Yes, ASEC can help start a new Safety Committee or support your existing Committees. Our level of support and engagement is based on each of our clients’ specific needs.

Will ASEC help with OSHA & EPA inspections?

Yes. If a regulatory agency arrives at one of our customers, we drop what we are doing to attend the inspection. In addition, our Compliance Consultants can prepare for scheduled visits in advance and work on post-visit action items, reports, or process improvements.

What is OSHA?

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is a large regulatory agency of the United States Department of Labor that originally had federal visitorial powers to inspect and examine workplaces.

What is the EPA?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is a United States agency that protects human health and the environment.

Can you provide OSHA & EPA Resources?

American Safety & Environment Consultants (ASEC) is focused on working on both EPA and OSHA Compliance with Manufacturing Organizations within the greater Chicagoland Area. If you are an Employee and would like to report an issue or need support, please reach out directly to the EPA and/or OSHA. ASEC will not respond to employee specific issues.

Gregory Genslinger

Owner (Founder) and CEO

Gregory Genslinger is a seasoned presence in his field. His business, American Safety and Environmental Consultants (ASEC) is service provider of Safety and Environmental Compliance Services. Greg is a proud leader today, actively serving as the Owner (Founder) and CEO. Throughout their over 3 decades as safety and environmental consultants, ASEC has helped a diverse range of manufacturing companies throughout the Midwest to achieve the necessary compliance with federal and state regulations. Clients range from a broad array of industries including chemical, oil, gas, wood products, impact extrusion, precious metals, and other industrial clients.

Greg’s impressive manufacturing, environmental and safety compliance experience all started with a strong industrial engineering education, Bachelors of Arts in Business/Economics and Master of Business Administration and impressive accomplishments in his roles as an Industrial Engineer and Safety & Compliance Manager.

Greg also served as the:

*President and Member of the Board of a Company engaged in the development of Nuclear Waste Stabilization Techniques in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy.

*President and Member of Board of an industrial management consulting firm.

*Director of Safety & Environmental Compliance for a large group of a multi-national corporation.

*Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a large manufacturing facility.

*Plant Manager of large manufacturing facility.

Greg is a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and serves as 1st Vice Commander of his local American Legion Post.
