American Safety and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (ASEC) is full-service Compliance Consulting Business focused on providing both OSHA and EPA Compliance Services.

Initially, ASEC audits a customer’s facility(ies) to obtain the information needed to determine a plan for compliance. With audit information in hand, we develop a comprehensive system for attaining compliance at a pace regulated by our customer’s needs. Upon attainment of compliance, we develop a monthly schedule of visits to the facility(ies) to provide our customer with the services required to collaboratively maintain compliance.

Ongoing services include OSHA and EPA compliance advice, training, program development, regulatory inspection support, annual report analysis and the necessary reporting and documentation. Since 1986 we have successfully and consistently provided compliance services to our clients, many of whom have relied on our Compliance Services for over three decades.

Greg’s impressive manufacturing, environmental and safety compliance experience all started with a strong industrial engineering education, Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics and Master of Business Administration. Contributing to his education is his vast experience and impressive accomplishments in his roles as Plant Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Project Engineer, Industrial Engineer and Safety & Compliance Manager. Greg is a proud Veteran of the United Sates Navy and serves as 1st Vice Commander of his local American Legion Post.

As a Consultant at American Safety & Environmental Consultants, I am dedicated to providing expert guidance in both OSHA and EPA compliance. My extensive tenure of over a decade with ASEC, coupled with a solid background as a Safety Manager, equips me with a deep well of knowledge and a strategic mindset to tackle complex safety and environmental challenges effectively. My career is supported by numerous professional certifications, including a Certified Safety Manager (CSM) and a collegiate foundation in Safety and Environmental Studies. This combination of experience and education allows me to deliver insightful, practical solutions to drive meaningful improvements for our clients.

Outside of work, I am a husband and father of three. Balancing a rewarding career with family life keeps me motivated and grounded, with my family’s support being central to my personal and professional growth.

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations at American Safety and Environmental Consultants, I bring a unique blend of expertise in business administration, human resources, and corporate training to the team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources, coupled with over 15 years of experience as a corporate trainer specializing in industrial safety and employee career development, I am dedicated to driving growth and innovation in our organization. My role at ASEC is to direct and manage the functions of IT, Marketing, Accounting, Field Operations, Human Resources, and Website Administration. My passion for customer care ensures that our clients receive the highest level of service and support as we strive to create a safer and more productive workplace environment.

Gregory Genslinger is a seasoned presence in his field. His business, American Safety and Environmental Consultants (ASEC) is service provider of Safety and Environmental Compliance Services. Greg is a proud leader today, actively serving as the Owner (Founder) and CEO. Throughout their over 3 decades as safety and environmental consultants, ASEC has helped a diverse range of manufacturing companies throughout the Midwest to achieve the necessary compliance with federal and state regulations. Clients range from a broad array of industries including chemical, oil, gas, wood products, impact extrusion, precious metals, and other industrial clients.

Greg’s impressive manufacturing, environmental and safety compliance experience all started with a strong industrial engineering education, Bachelors of Arts in Business/Economics and Master of Business Administration and impressive accomplishments in his roles as an Industrial Engineer and Safety & Compliance Manager.

Greg also served as the:

*President and Member of the Board of a Company engaged in the development of Nuclear Waste Stabilization Techniques in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy.
